Was an inspiring trip. Different to the previous year. A little less people. A lot colder. Much more rainy. There was still inspiration in droves. The Swash show bit was fantastic. I got all sweaty just looking at the giant festoons made of silk and paper. There were also these great water colours of a greyhound, insects and of course, flowers. One thing was, I had no idea this dog existed in real life (although it was obvious later by the type of studies in the work). The man and dog sat next to me at the final catwalk. They were impossible not to notice. The little thing was extraordinarily well behaved. So chilled out. This was no ordinary dog.
My days were split between Hyeres events and seeking beaches and smelling the smells of this magical place. I took just too many pictures! 548 in total!
